Alfred's New Ramblings

Bullet Journal

I have started Bullet Journal-ling in late November.   This analog system runs counter to everything I have done for the past 10 years. 🙂

Bullet Journal is a system where you take a plain notebook, leave the first few pages as an index.  The following numbered pages, you fill with monthly goals/tasks and then daily tasks.  Later the index page is updated entries on which page to find a particular month or day.  Or even just random scribbling.

There are plenty of videos on Youtube on how to do bullet journalling.  Strangely a lot of them were made by women.  So expect lots of pictures and drawings.

Why Bullet Journal, not Evernote or Keep or any of the many multiple of apps that does note taking.  Research has shown that writing it down has longer impact to the process of learning and understanding that typing.
