Adding VLANs to UCS blade

UCS blade and new VLANs. I thought I have never have to do this but it came up.

The VLANs were created and these just need to be added to the UCS blade.

The UCS blade configuration is controlled by service profiles. These service profiles can be based on templates. Presumably, for a large server farm, templates would be the way to go. We have only a small handful of blades, so it is just custom service profiles.

To modify the service profiles, it is just a simple matter of opening the Server tab and locate the desired service profile. Expand the VNIC tab, locate the desired interface and add the VLANs.

Remember to add the VLAN id to the VMware ESXi server, otherwise ping and web management cannot connect.
