Android 12 was launched on 4 October 2021, codenamed Snow Cone.
Here is a short video on the features. More emphasis on UI and themes. I am looking forward to a full Monet implementation. Monet is the new theming engine from Google. If it is from Google, it can affect areas where CyanogenMod and later Lineage could not. Only time will tell.
