Working with corporate laptops means giving up on some things.
Web or Desktop application will no longer work. The workaround is to use Pushbullet to receive the notifications on your phone. Note this is a global setting, which means if you are sharing the entire screen during a call, your personal Whatsapp notification might pop up. Alternatively, you can use Pushbullet to send the image to the phone and a simple Bluetooth keyboard to type the messages.
I have discovered using 3 profiles Bluetooth keyboards isn’t as seamless. Switching between devices there is a noticeable lag for the phone to detect. On my K480 keyboard, I have found after switching profiles, pressing the PC or the I button (Android) connects much faster.
Device Drivers
As admin privileges are required to install device drivers for the console adapter, this can be a pain. Logging a case, explaining why you need it etc. Sometimes the drivers are already on Windows Update. All you need to do is to connect to the hardware eg Cisco switch a USB cable and run Windows Update. If that does not work, check out AirConsole.
Applications
If you can’t install the open source app, eg Notepad++, Filezilla etc. Search for portable apps. Just remember to install it outside your profile eg c:\apps
